This week I’m highlighting Panache Swim with a bit of CurvyKate on the side. I’m pretty familiar with most styles of Panache having personally fit them in the store and not as much with the Curvy Kate brand since it’s not one that we carried. They are however, in a similar category of size range and style so they sort of naturally fit together. They both start at a D cup and 28 band size for some styles and they both go to 40 K cup in some styles. They also have some styles that go up to a 46 band size but those are generally in cup sizes D through F.

Though these two brands have plunge styles they tend more toward a more balconette style frame and a fairly full cup. The styles will tend to work slightly better for someone higher breasted and full and firm but these are just generalities. There are always exceptions. I tend toward more plunge styles myself but I’m still able to wear a 34D in Panache swim. The difference is that some brands I can wear without my prosthetic but with my Panache swim I definitely need my full size prosthetic.

Beginning with Panache here are some observations on some particularly popular styles. One of the most popular and most recolored styles is Marina. The neck strap shown is removable and it also comes with shoulder straps. This swimsuit has a very solid frame that won’t easily buckle even in the larger sizes. Marina is recolored in solid colors while the Florentine (right) is a similar frame but is generally a floral print and is also always a very popular style. Both have great supportive coverage up to a 40F and a 38G.

Another great style collection is Anya. These suits are part of a permanent collection in a polka dot style and a striped style. Shown below are the tankini styles but a version of these styles are also available in bikini and one piece styles. The polka dot style goes from a 32 to a 42J and on the smaller end is also available beginning at 34D.

Panache suits are of course all well made but in my opinion, two of the trickiest to wear and fit correctly are the Elle soft cup bikini style (pictured below) and

the Milano style (zigzag print to the right) which usually comes in both bikini and tankini styles. Take a look at the two tankini styles pictured and you can see the difference in the neckline of the Anya on the left and the Milano on the right. The Elle and Milano are particularly tricky if you have soft tissue or shallow breasts however, they are great styles for you if you really like to show off your “assets” on the beach!

Another style I really like is one that I believe used to be part of the Cleo swim collection which has since merged into just Panache. That is the Aspyn style. For teens and young adults in particular I think it’s a good balance of youthful style without being overly revealing. As with other brands that I’ve blogged about, Panache has a variety of bottoms from Brazilians to high waist briefs to choose from for the look you want. CurvyKate has one of the best social media games around. They have very size inclusive swim ranges and there are a lot of influencers modeling the swim on Instagram. The styles shown here can be seen on a variety of women if you follow the brand on Instagram. The one piece is called Sheer Class and the bikini print is called Sea Leopard.

One other very popular newer CurvyKate style is the Wrapsody black one piece and bikini top. Videos and illustrations are available on the internet and Instagram to show the many different fun ways to style it!
