This week I want to talk about the Eveden family of swim brands. These include Fantasie, Freya and Elomi. I will put most of the focus this week on Elomi because it has one uniqueness not found anywhere else that I’ve seen. So, none of these are hard and fast rules because rules were meant to be broken and there’s always crossover when you categorize things. These are just my opinions from fitting these swim brands on women for the better part of five years but I’m going to throw them out there anyway! The Freya brand trends younger and more revealing with smaller band sizes. Elomi has somewhat wider age range appeal. Coverage varies depending on the style you choose but isn’t available in smaller band and cup sizes. For example, it’s not a brand I can wear at size 34D. Fantasie sort of bridges the gap between the two others. It has a fairly large age range appeal. My 19 year old daughter and I at age 55 both wear this brand. In my opinion it tends more on the modest side although it depends again on which style you choose.

You can see a representative example of the differences in the look of the brands pictured here. The first is a Freya. The next in the middle is an Elomi and on the right side is a Fantasie style.
So beginning with Elomi, let me introduce you to the swim bra. This “essential” swim bra is pictured in the center below and is available in both black and a dark blue.

The size range is from band size 34-44 and cup sizes from DD-JJ. Elomi has a great selection of fashion print bikinis with a variety of bottoms to choose from. The one piece suits and tankini tops are dress sized from 16-26 and can be worn by themselves and have a supportive moulded shelf bra but for extra support and a more customized fit you can add the amazing swim bra to the ensemble making it one of the most supportive swim brands for those with a larger bust. You can see in the picture above that the Essentials collection includes a few different bottoms that you can mix and match with the tops for a look customized to you.
Fantasie also has a basics line called Versailles. If you like a patterned top with a basic black bottom you have a few styles to choose from with a variety of coverage options. There is another collection in solid colors called Ottawa that is a staple for the brand. A sign of a good suit is looking at how many times a brand has introduced the same suit in a new color and this one has been recolored more than any other style to my knowledge. The Fantasie full cup styles are a pretty flexible fit and are a good option for most whether high breasted, low breasted, shallow or full breasted or even asymmetrica! Different styles have different size ranges based on the level of support it provides but this brand has something for almost everyone.

Freya’s version of the Ottawa collection is called Sundance. You can’t really go wrong with a style that has been recolored this many times. Again, there are a variety of bottom styles to go with the bikini and tankini tops. There are bandeaus, plunges and halter styles to choose from much like the other two brands. However, you can generally count on Freya suits to be somewhat more revealing than the Fantasie and Elomi styles if that’s the look you are going for. You can see the difference in the bikini tops pictured in the popular Ottawa and Sundance collections. Freya also usually has a more sporty one piece in their seasonal collection.
